A company by the name Brainlab just got clearance for a application called TraumaCad Mobile, which helps orthopedic surgeons with their pre-operative surgical planning.

This application has been used by doctors for years to assist with their surgery. Since technology is the future and forever changing, with doctors having the ability to plan a patients surgery where ever they are, it will make the patient feel that the medical team truly has their situation taken care of.

“In the past several years, mobile devices have transformed how surgeons and healthcare professionals work by enhancing data access and productivity. With the mobile version of TraumaCad, digital templating can now be accessed from any web browser or iPad, enabling surgeons to be more productive while also providing access to data for better inventory management.”

In 2004 this application was just on desktops now doctors can be in multiple places or have access to different technological devices and continue to take care of the patients issue.
