Stuart Bracken, CEO and Co-Founder of Bioscape Digital, was a featured guest on Atlanta Tech Edge TV Show on Sunday November 9th, 2014, hosted by Wes Moss.
During the show, Moss asked Bracken numerous questions in order to unfold what the Bioscape’s innovative product is all about. Bracken explained how he saw the opportunity to engage patients with relevant and timely content and transactions in the hospital environment, since whenever we go to a hospital we all have to wait, sometimes for a while.
“We use a tablet device, in the [hospital’s] room, to deliver what’s relevant to the patient”, Bracken said. “What used to happen… there used to be a TV in the room, and we watched those terrible 80s movies, so my job is not to allow that to happen. I want it (the patient’s experience) to be interactive, I want you to be able to sign up for more information, and I want you to be able to purchase items that are relevant for you, and that is what we focus on”, Bracken added.
Moss also asked about the company’s growth. Bracken mentioned that for the first year the team focused on researching and understanding what the problem was and how to solve it. “Starting this year, in January, we launched our product in the hospitals”. “Right now we are growing literally as quickly as we can order tablets”, Bracken concluded.
